Our story
Established in 2012
Choice One Rx was founded on the principles of compassion, expertise, and
innovation — and on a straightforward observation: patients prescribed specialty
therapy were falling through the cracks between the prescriber's office and the
insurer, and nobody owned the gap.
More than a decade later we are still independent. That matters more than it
sounds. We are not owned by a payer, a PBM, or a health system, so we are not
steering a patient toward a product because someone upstream benefits. The only
question we answer is whether this patient can get this therapy, and how fast.
Today we serve prescribers and patients across the entire state of Florida from
our pharmacy in Delray Beach.
How we work
We own the whole referral, not just the fill
When a referral arrives, a pharmacist is assigned to it and stays with it. That
person runs the benefits investigation, prepares and submits the prior
authorization, appeals it if it is denied, hunts for copay or foundation
assistance if the out-of-pocket is unaffordable, counsels the patient, and
schedules the delivery.
Then they keep going: adherence checks, side-effect management, and refill
coordination for as long as the patient is on therapy.
One accountable owner. Your office should never have to ask
"who at the pharmacy is handling this?" — the answer is a named pharmacist, and
the portal shows you the case status without a phone call.
